It gives me immense pleasure knowing that my client’s product will go to market with the best foot forward. Developing the aesthetics that the client desires while also taking into consideration the wider audience appeal is a fine balance struck through close collaboration with my clients, market research and the right amount of originality to set them apart.
CK Worldwide - Master TIG Cable Connector
CK Worldwide is a company based in Auburn and makes all of their equipment products in the U.S.A. Their equipment is renowned for its quality and reliability and is highly regarded in the welding world
I used their basic brand guidelines to design this piece. I was also charged with creating as clear illustration of the parts and assembly options. This design piece is a backer card that is meant to be inserted in the clamshell packaging behind the product.
Vie By Shanti
Shanti is the owner and proprietor of a line of natural beauty products that she sold out of her home and was doing everything herself, including packaging design.
I helped shanti develop an original identity to replace the basic text and white background she had been using prior. I developed a brand identity and labeling design for her entire family of products. I blended her desire for a simple layout and clean feel with the information she wanted to easily display to her clientele, reinforcing the natural traits of her products.
MacSquid
This was a fun project for a small business/inventor. The product is used to break free snagged lures, mostly employed in the sport of bass fishing, given their habitat amongst the most tangled of branches and underwater flora.
Using the logo that had already been developed, I designed the packaging to match its aesthetic. I was also charged with developing a simple yet explanatory set of instructions on how to use the device, so that it fits in the small area of the back of the packaging.
Shop Iron
Label artwork developed for a line of affordable shop equipment sold in retailers such as Sears and Home Depot.
This product labeling was designed to be highly visible, easy to read and very easy to produce for the parent company. This was the parent company’s first foray into this product line so they did not want to commit to a complex lithographic packaging until the market was tested. It allowed them to produce more packaging depending on demand and make any content changes given feedback from the stores in which it was sold.
